Steelers players not staying quiet regarding the officiating in Week 8

The Pittsburgh Steelers have plenty to be worried about considering they are on a short week with the Tennessee Titans coming to town on Thursday Night Football. However, sometimes there are bigger issues which players can’t get over.

Sometimes it is a missed opportunity, like a dropped pass, and other times it’s a blown call by the officiating. For the Steelers after their Week 8 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars, it was more of the latter.

After the game, kicker Chris Boswell took to his Instagram to share some still images on his IG Story about how the 55-yard field goal which was negated by an offsides penalty…a penalty which shouldn’t have been called.

If that wasn’t enough, and that was pretty minor compared to Diontae Johnson’s post-game media session. Johnson didn’t hold back when criticizing the officiating after the 20-10 loss.
