SCN’s Survivor Contest: Week 10 Results

Week 10 of the 2023 NFL season is in the books. With all games complete, Steel Curtain Network’s survivor league is now in the second half of the season with the total remaining just above double digits.

With starting a new venture, there are not as many contestants this season as in year’s past who are in the running for the Donnie Shell football. With all of league one being filled with 100 contestants, league two capped out at 64 entries. Since I am entered in both leagues in order to have access, this means 163 contestants are vying for the signed Donnie Shell Hall of Fame football.

This week there was some slight changes to the numbers as the 13 remaining contestants were whittled down to 10. The most common selection saw five contestants, three from League 1 and two from League 2, pick the Dallas Cowboys to defeat the New York Giants. Much like when these teams played in Week 1, this game was a blowout and never in question.

The next most popular game that was chosen had three contestants selecting the Pittsburgh Steelers over the Green Bay Packers. Although it came down to the final play of the game, the Steelers di not surrender the touchdown and instead pulled in the interception to seal the 23-19 victory.

There were three contestants eliminated this week after a week where everyone made it through. Two contestants, both in League 2, picked the Cincinnati Bengals to defeat the Houston Texans while one contestant in League 1 picked the Buffalo Bills over the Denver Broncos.

For those who are still in the contest, Week 11 is open and ready for you to make your next selection. Make sure you get in there and make your choice early as the selection can be changed up until 1 PM EST on Sunday.
