Steelers Friday Night Six Pack: Speculation Season Edition

It’s another week in the NFL offseason, but the first weekend with all 32 teams officially in offseason mode. That means one thing, and one thing only — welcome to speculation season!

It also means it’s time for a Friday night six pack of questions for the black-and-gold faithful. So, you should know the rules by now, but if you don’t:

  • State your beverage of choice
  • What’s on the menu tonight?
  • What music are you listening to?

As for me, I’m grilling country style, bone-in pork chops on the Oklahoma Joe grill (no gas grill here), with some store bought kombucha. When it comes to music, I’m listening to some of my old Willie Nelson vinyl as we await another snow storm.

Let’s get to the questions…

1 If you had to pick one free agent quarterback to have for 2024, who would it be, and why?

  • Joshua Dobbs
  • Ryan Tannehill
  • Jacoby Brissett

2. Who will have more scrimmage yards in 2024? Najee Harris or Jaylen Warren?

3. I showed my kids an in-stadium version of “Renegade” on YouTube the other day. They thought it was so cool to see everyone going nuts and waiving their Terrible Towels. What’s your take on the song/tradition? If you were going to replace it, what song would you use?

4. Finish the sentence…

If Kenny Pickett is the QB1 in 2024 and stays health for the entire season, the Steelers will win ____ games.

5. Which is more important, in your opinion? Free Agency or the NFL Draft? Explain your answer…

6. In the world of golf everyone was flipping out about the Waste Management fan behavior last weekend. It looked more like a college football environment than a golf environment. What is your take on fan etiquette at a sporting event? Just go and have fun, or should fans behave a certain way at a sporting even?

Have a great weekend, and always be sure to check into SCN for the latest podcasts and articles on the Steelers!
