Around the NFC West: Week 12

The San Francisco 49ers won their third straight game on Thanksgiving night 31-13 over the Seattle Seahawks. The win gives the 49ers a two-game lead in the NFC West. Christian McCaffrey had a huge night with 114 yards rushing, 25 yards receiving, and two touchdowns. San Francisco’s defense was relentless sacking Geno Smith six times and holding him to 180 yards passing. They also had an interception in the contest. The 49ers travel to Philadelphia to take on the NFC-leading Eagles in week 13. Seattle travels to Dallas to take on the Cowboys on Thursday Night Football.

It was an easy Sunday afternoon for the Los Angeles Rams in Arizona where they knocked off the Cardinals 37-14. Matthew Stafford threw four touchdowns in the game. Two of those touchdowns came to running back Kyren Williams in his first game after returning from injured reserve. Williams had the game of his life rushing for 143 yards and catching six passes for 61 yards and those two touchdowns. Kyler Murray played pretty well in his third start of the season throwing for 256 yards and touchdown, but it was not enough on an afternoon where he was sacked four times by the Rams defense. Two of those sacks came from defensive tackle Kobie Turner. The Rams host the Cleveland Browns in week 13 while the Cardinals travel to Pittsburgh to take on the Steelers.
