The Miami Dolphins have clinched a playoff chance but had a chance to clinch the AFC East title with a win against the Baltimore Ravens, but they failed to do so losing 56-19. They also lost Bradley Chubb for the rest of the season to a torn ACL, and Tua Tagovailoa to a shoulder injury. Tua’s status for week 17 is still up in the air. It was a big day for De’Von Achane who had 107 yards rushing and 30 yards receiving with a touchdown. The Dolphins play the Buffalo Bills on Sunday Night Football this week.

Buffalo kept their playoff hopes alive with a 27-21 win over the New England Patriots. Josh Allen did not have a great day passing with just 169 yards and an interception, but he had 44 yards and two touchdowns in the win. The Bills defense picked off Bailey Zappe three times in the win. Buffalo needs a win over the Dolphins in week 18 to make the playoffs. A win would give them the AFC East title and a home playoff game. A loss ends their season. The Patriots have been eliminated from playoff contention for quite some time at this point.

Speaking of teams eliminated from playoff contention, the New York Jets lost 37-20 to the Cleveland Browns. Breece Hall had another big game with 126 all-purpose yards and a touchdown. Trevor Siemian passed for 261 yards with a touchdown and an interception. He spread the ball around to eight different pass catchers on the afternoon. The Patriots host the Jets on Sunday.
