Around the AFC East: Week 10

The Buffalo Bills lost a heartbreaker to the Denver Broncos on Monday Night Football 24-22. Denver had missed the game-winning field goal at the end of the game but got a second chance when the Bills were penalized for having 12 men on the field. Sean McDermott was so mad about that penalty that he fired offensive coordinator Ken Dorsey on Tuesday morning. Dorsey was made the scapegoat, but the real problem with the Buffalo offense is that Josh Allen is turning the ball over entirely too much. Allen threw two interceptions and lost a fumble against the Broncos. The Bills have a home game against the New York Jets in week 11.

The New York Jets fell to the Las Vegas Raiders 16-22 on Sunday Night Football. The Jets’ offense struggled once again against the Raiders failing to score a touchdown in the game. Zach Wilson went 23 of 39 for 263 yards and an interception in the loss. Robert Saleh reiterated on Monday that the team is sticking with Wilson. Can they stay in the race until Aaron Rodgers can come back? It has been reported that he could be back by mid-December. The Jets play the Bills on Sunday.

It was another tough day on offense for the New England Patriots in Germany where they lost 10-6 to the Indianapolis Colts. Mac Jones was once again benched in favor of Bailey Zappe after Jones threw a fourth-quarter interception. Zappe threw an interception of his own on the next drive to clinch the game for the Colts. It was the third time this season Jones has been benched. Bill Belichick was non-committal on who his starting quarterback will be going forward. The Patriots have their bye in week 11.

The Miami Dolphins had their bye week in week 10.
