Who gets the game ball for the Steelers 18-16 win over the Ravens in Week 11?

The Pittsburgh Steelers have extended their winning streak to five games and pushed their record to 8-2 by getting their first AFC North win by defeating the Ravens in Pittsburgh. Despite the talk of offense being prevalent heading up to the game, it was defense and special teams that was more of the story.

But who gets the game ball?

Each win for the Steelers this season, I will set forth nominations to receive the SCN game ball. It does not necessarily have to be the best player on the field, but who really stepped up their game this particular week. After the case has been made, you all decide which player takes home the honor.

Previous Game Ball winners from the 2024 season include:

Week 1: Chris Boswell (92%)
Week 2: Cory Trice (28%)
Week 3: Justin Fields (69%)
Week 6: T.J. Watt (49%)
Week 7: Beanie Bishop (57%)
Week 8 Calvin Austin (79%)
Week 10 Cam Heyward (32%)

I will remind everyone of the rules that it is individual players who will be in the running. Although it could be applicable, it will not be either position groups or coaches who are eligible for this designation as they are more in line for Jeff Hartman’s Winners and Losers article.

So here are the nominations in no particular order:

Patrick Queen

Facing his former team, Queen led the Steelers in tackles with 10. Additionally, he had a forced fumble and fumble recovery.

George Pickens

Although things were tough for the Steelers offense, he still managed to have 89 receiving yards on 8 receptions.

Chris Boswell

Once again accounting for all the Steelers points in a victory, Chris Boswell was 6/6 on field goals against the Ravens with a long of 57 yards. In fact, three of Boswell’s six field goals were from 50 yards away or longer.

Payton Wilson

Although we only had two tackles in the game, the Steelers rookie pulled in a key interception where he wrestled it away from the receiver which gave the Steelers the opportunity to push their lead to eight points in the final minutes of the game.

T.J. Watt

Although he did not tear up the stat sheet, T.J. Watt did have 1.0 sacks in the game along with two tackles and made his presence felt quite often throughout the game.

So what do you think? Who deserves the game ball for the Steelers this week? Make sure you vote in the poll as this is how the winner will be determined. As a bonus, you can even add another choice if you think someone other than these five should get the honor (and no cheating on the rules or it will be removed). And of course, feel free to leave your thoughts in the comments below.
