Around the NFC West: Week 9

The Arizona Cardinals took control of the NFC West with their third straight win 29-9 over the Chicago Bears. It was the Cardinals ground game that torched the Bears gaining 213 yards on 34 carries and scoring three touchdowns. James Conner led the way with 18 carries for 107 yards. Kyler Murray had a quiet day throwing for 154 yards and rushing for just six. The Cardinals host the New York Jets in week 10.

The Los Angeles Rams have also won three straight. This week they beat the Seattle Seahawks 26-20. Matthew Stafford threw for 298 yards with two touchdowns and one interception. His favorite target was Cooper Kupp who caught 11 passes for 104 yards. Demarcus Robinson chipped in six catches for 94 yards and both touchdowns. For the Seahawks, Geno Smith threw for 363 yards with three touchdowns and three interceptions. Jaxon Smith-Njigba had the biggest day of his young career with seven catches for 180 yards and two touchdowns. Kenneth Walker totaled 107 total yards in the loss. The Rams play the Dolphins on Monday Night Football in week 10 while the Seahawks have their bye.

The San Francisco 49ers had their bye in week nine and take on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in week 10.
